SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
The CONFIRMATION RETREAT has been arranged for Sunday 5 September at Emmaus 10.00-16.00. The list for confirmation 2010 is now closed. Those Candidates who have been completing the attendance at Mass forms but have not yet put in their application form should do so immediately. Please remember that you need to complete a Mass attendance slip before Mass and put it in the collection pouch.

2 & 3 December
HOLY BOY
SINGERS AND MUSICIANS WANTED
We are looking for adult singers and a few musicians who would be interested in appearing in two public, choral performances of Holy Boy by David Palmer at St John the Baptist Church. Rehearsals start with an open session on Sunday, 5 September 14.00-17.00 in the Church Hall and will take place every Sunday afternoon until December.
SINGERS: Vocal soloists will be auditioned on 12 & 19 September. The ‘choir’ will be selected on a first come first served basis. Application lists are at the back of the Church. Please sign up.
MUSICIANS: We are looking for reed players, guitarists and percussionists. Auditions will be held on 12 & 19 September. Rehearsals for musicians start in November.
